Nissan India has launched the X-Trail in India. The new Nissan X-Trail has been introduced in India at Rs 49.92 lakh, ex-showroom price in Mumbai. The three-row SUV is not locally assembled in India and is being fully imported from outside. Nissan is also offering a 3-year and 1 lakh km warranty on the new Nissan. A three-year of free roadside assistance is also offered. The new Nissan X-Trail comes in a single variant in India.
New Nissan X-Trail
The new X-Trail is powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 163hp and 300Nm. The petrol engine comes with a 12V mild-hybrid system and is paired with a shift-by-wire CVT auto gearbox.
The new X-Trail features a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, wireless charging pad, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry and go, drive modes, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brand with auto-hold, cruise control, seven airbags, ABD with EBD, transaction control, front and rear parking sensors and hill hold assist among other features.
New Nissan X-Trail Prices and Rivals
The new Nissan X-Trail is offered in a single petrol variant. The X-Trail Mild Hybrid CVT is priced at Rs 59.24 lakh, on-road price in Mumbai. It is more expensive than all of its rivals.
The new Nissan X-Trail directly rivals the likes of several seven seater premium SUVs such as Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV 700, Skoda Kodiaq, Citroen C5 Aircross and Hyundai Tucson.
