Mercedes Benz India has introduced a new electric SUV in their lineup. This time the new electric SUV by Mercedes Benz comes in the Maybach variant. The super luxury electric SUV is called Maybach EQS and it has been launched at a price of Rs 2.25 crore (ex-showroom, India).

The new Mercedes Benz Maybach EQS comes in a single trim in the 680 variant. It gets a dual electric motor setup that produces 649bhp and 950Nm of torque which sends power to all four wheels through the 4Matic AWD tech as standard. The Maybach EQS SUV accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in just 4.4 seconds, with a claimed top speed of 210kmph. It comes with a 122kWh battery that supports 200kW DC fast charging, leading to a claimed range of 611km on a full battery charge.

The Mercedes Benz Maybach EQS is Mercedes India’s flagship electric SUV. It gets a massive black grille panel with a Maybach waterfall grill. The Maybach SUV gets the Maybach trademark dual-tone exterior paint scheme. It offers 21-inch and 22-inch wheels.

On the interior front, the new Maybach EQS comes with a triple-screen display but with Maybach-specific start-up sequences and is highlighted by the MBUX Hyperscreen. The rear passengers are treated with entertainment options, including two 11.6-inch displays and a tablet that can be used both inside and outside the vehicle.
The Maybach EQS SUV comes in two optional packages, first is the Chauffeur package which enhances the rear passengers’ seating comfort experience, and the First-Class Rear package, which gets thermal cup holders, four USB-C ports, a shelf for the MBUX rear tablet, and two HDMI interfaces. Optional add-ons include a cooling compartment and silver-plated champagne goblets.
It also features active ambient lighting, with 64 different LED colors and 13 lighting combinations. The new Maybach EQS also offers seat ventilation, massage functions, a Burmester 4D surround sound system, with 15 Dolby Atmos speakers, and neck and shoulder heating.
