The new Mercedes Benz GLS SUV is priced at 1.32 crore, ex-showroom India. It is Mercedes Benz’s flagship SUV in India. The new Mercedes Benz GLS SUV comes in two variants, the GLS 450 and the GLS 450D. The new Mercedes Benz GLS SUV is quite similar to the outgoing model.

As mentioned before, the new Mercedes Benz GLS SUV comes in two variants. The GLS 450 comes with a 3.0-liter inline-six petrol engine that produces 395bhp and 700Nm and utilizes a 9-speed automatic gearbox to send power to all four wheels and even has a water-wading depth of 500 mm. The petrol variant accelerates from 0 to 100 mph in 6.1 seconds. The diesel variant, the GLS 450D makes a combined 384bhp and 950Nm from a 3.0-litre inline-six and the mild hybrid system.
The new GLS comes with 21-inch wheels wrapped in 275-section front and 315-section rear tires. It has a fuel capacity of 90 liters and is weighted at 3,220 kg.

There are no major changes in the new Mercedes Benz GLS SUV and the outgoing model. Thought, the new Mercedes Benz GLS SUV has a new design of grille which has been disliked by many. It also gets four horizontal chrome strips, a new daytime running lamp (DRL) signature, a new block pattern signature on the rear tail lights, and a restyled front bumper. The new GLS comes with 21-inch alloy wheels and has five exterior paint options: Polar White, Sodalite Blye, Selenite Grey, High-tech Silver, and Obsidian Black. it also gets the ADAS suite.

The new GLS SUV borrows the air-conditioning vents from the Maybach. It also borrows the steering wheel touch controls from the S-Class sedan. The three-row seven-seater SUV gets heated and ventilated front seats. It gets new ARTICO synthetic leather upholstery in three color options: black, brown, and beige.
The new GLS SUV gets an MBUX multimedia infotainment system, a 13-speaker 590-watt Burmester sound system featuring Dolby Atmos, 5-zone climate control, wireless smartphone charging, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and two 11.6-inch touch displays.
