Mercedes Benz India is on a roll. After launching several sedans, SUVs, and electric cars, now Mercedes Benz India has revealed the new GLE Coupe AMG. The new GLE Coupe AMG is launched with an introductory price of 1.85 crore, ex-showroom. The GLE Coupe AMG is the coupe version of the Mercedes Benz GLE SUV.
Mercedes Benz GLE Coupe AMG
The new GLE Coupe AMG gets the single AMG 53 variant. There is no major difference between the outgoing GLE Coupe AMG and the new generation model.
Mercedes Benz GLE Coupe AMG Powertrain
The new GLE Coupe AMG is powered by a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol engine combined with a 48V mild hybrid system. It adds 22 PS and 200 Nm of torque. It also gets a new 48V mild-hybrid system that adds 20hp and 200Nm. It produces 435PS and 520Nm of torque and gets a nine-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels using the brand’s 4MATIC technology. The new GLE Coupe AMG can sprint from 0 to 100 in 5 seconds.
Mercedes Benz GLE Coupe AMG Exterior
There is no major difference between the new generation model and the previous generation model. However, the new GLE Coupe AMG gets a redesigned front bumper, new headlights, and tail lights.
Mercedes Benz GLE Coupe AMG Interior
Just like the exterior, the interior of the new GLE Coupe has no major difference from the outgoing model. The new GLE Coupe AMG gets a new part-leather AMG-specific part-Alcantara steering wheel. It has two interior theme schemes: Bahia Brown and Black and Macchiato Beige and Black.
The new GLE Coupe AMG comes with dual 12.3-inch digital displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, multiple climate control zones, a 13-speaker Burmester sound system, powered front seats with heating and ventilation, multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

Mercedes Benz India has launched the new GLE Coupe 53 AMG with an introductory price of Rs 1.85 crore, ex-showroom. It is presently available at Rs 2.19 crore, on-road price in Mumbai.
Mercedes Benz GLE Coupe AMG Rivals
The new GLE Coupe 53 AMG has no rivals in India. The BMW X6 Coupe has been discontinued in India and there is unconditionally no Coupe SUV to challenge GLE Coupe in India right now. However, at a price point of 2.19 crore, the GLE Coupe is quite expensive. There are plenty of options for customers in that price range.
The Range Rover Sport, Porsche Cayenne Coupe, and Porsche 911 entry-level trim are some closer competitive cars for the GLE Coupe AMG.
