Lexus has unveiled the new 2025 Lexus LX 700h. The new 700h is the new hybrid and off-road powertrain variant of the flagship Lexus LX SUV. The Lexus LX SUV is now available in petrol, diesel, and hybrid variants. The new also comes with Lexus LX 700h with minor changes and upgraded features.
New Lexus LX 700h
The new Lexus LX 700h gets the 3.4-liter V-6 twin-turbo engine that is used in LX600. It now produces 457PS and 790Nm of torque and is mated with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The new Lexus LX 700h comes with the latest Lexus Safety System + suite of active safety. It has safety features such as Safe Exit Assist, a driver monitoring camera, and the Emergency Driving Stop System (EDSS). The 8-inch digital instrument cluster has been replaced with a 12.3-inch unit on all variants.
In the inner, the new LX 700h gets a redesigned 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and faster wireless charging pads. The higher VIP and Executive variants get massage functions with full-body and targeted options with varying intensity levels.
Lexus has also added a new off-road-focused “Overtrail” edition for the LX. This edition also comes with a few other Lexus models, including the new Land Cruiser Prado-based Lexus GX. The LX Overtrail gets unique alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres, a limited Moon Desert paint, a blacked-out grille, and other accents, which boosts its rugged persona and elegance. Its cabin is wrapped in a low-saturation monolith upholstery with ash burl black accents. The Overtrail edition is prepared with 265/70R18 all-terrain or 265/65R18 mud and snow tyres.
The new updated Lexus cars including the Lexus LX 700h will go on sale in North America first, followed by other markets. The new Lexus LX 700h will be launched in India in 2026.
