Earlier this year, Hyundai India launched the new facelifted Creta SUV in the country. The Hyundai Creta has been one of the most preferred SUVs for millions of families in India. The Hyundai Creta has been one of the highest-selling mid-size SUVs for the past decade.
New facelifted Creta
In 2024, Hyundai India introduced the new facelifted Creta with a completely new look. The new facelifted Creta was launched with an introductory price of 11 lakh, ex-showroom for the base variant. The top trim SX (O) diesel automatic is available for over 22 lakh, on-road price in Mumbai.
The new facelifted Creta has been launched with a total of 19 variants on offer and five engine and gearbox options. However, the new facelifted Creta SUV is more expensive than the outgoing model.
New facelifted Creta engine
The new facelifted Creta comes with a new 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine – replacing the discontinued 140hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit – that used to be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The 115hp, 1.5-liter petrol, and 116hp, 1.5-liter diesel engines remain unchanged, with their individual manual and automatic gearbox options.
New facelifted Creta exterior
Hyundai India has changed the new facelifted Creta thoroughly. Up front, the new Creta gets a grille with parametric details that are complemented by a new lighting setup. The split headlamps comprise LED Daytime Running Lamps, sequential indicators and a light bar atop the grille, with the main quad-LED headlamps positioned lowered down on the bumper. It is bonier at the back and receives full LED tail lamps, a full-width LED light bar, and a new rear bumper.
New facelifted Creta interior
The new facelifted Creta gets a new interior with a new dashboard and upholstery. It gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen that flows into the new 10.25-inch digital driver display with the support of 12 regional languages. The screen gets four themes and also displays footage from the blind-view monitor when the indicator is activated. It also gets a powered driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, onboard air purifier, electronic parking brake, two-step adjustable rear seat backrest, 360-degree camera, pillows for the rear seat headrests, and rear sunshades.
New facelifted Creta ADAS features
Unlike the outgoing model, the new facelifted Creta comes with several safety features and an ADAS system. It gets six airbags which are standard across all the models. The top trim gets radar and camera-based ADAS. Hyundai India claims that the new facelifted Creta is stronger than before. It gets 19 ADAS functions including features such as auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane keep assist, and more.
New Hyundai Creta Knight Edition and N Line
The new Hyundai Creta Knight Edition has been launched too. It is available in both petrol and diesel options in S (O) and SX (O) variants.
The new Hyundai Creta Knight Edition gets a black paint scheme, black wheels with red brake calipers, a matte logo, black ORVMs, and a black spoiler. In the interior, the upholstery has been trimmed out in full black while you also receive a leather-wrapped steering and gear knob along with metal pedals.
Besides the Hyundai Creta Knight Edition, the new Creta N Line variant has also been launched. The Creta N Line is the sports and performance variant of the SUV.
New Hyundai Creta EV
Hyundai India is all set to introduce the new Hyundai Creta EV. It is the first-ever electric variant of the popular SUV. The upcoming Hyundai Creta EV will be displayed at the upcoming Bharat Mobility event in 2025 in New Delhi. The deliveries of the Hyundai Creta EV will begin in February 2025.
