New Facelifted Porsche 911 Launched In India

Porsche India has launched the new facelifted 911 Carrera in India. The Porsche 911 Carrera is one of the most stunning, powerful, and desirable two-seater supercars available globally. Following its international debut last month, the new Porsche 911 Carrera is launched in India at Rs 1.99 crore, ex-showroom.

New Porsche 911 Carrera

The Porsche 911 Carrera is also known as 992.2 and comes in two trims in India, the Carrera and Carrera 4 GTS. The new Porsche 911 Carrera is over ten lakhs more expensive than the outgoing model. The 911 Carrera 4 GTS is priced higher than the 992.1 GT3.

New Porsche 911 Powertrain

The new Porche 911 Carrera comes with a 3.0-litre twin-turbo boxer engine producing 394hp and 450Nm torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed PDK auto gearbox sending power to the rear wheels.

New Porsche 911 Features

The new Porsche 911 has several features such as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, heated seats, sports seats, cruise control, 360-degree camera, reverse camera, Matrix LED headlamps, automatic climate control, Tyre pressure monitoring system, sunroof, and TPMS, ISOFIX anchors among others.

New Porsche 911 Rivals

The Porsche 911 has no direct rival in India. However, the Mercedes Benz AMG SL55 Roadster convertible car gives a tough coemption to Porsche 911 in India.

The SL55 Roadster convertible is priced at 2.89 crore, on-road price in Mumbai. It is quite a stunning car when the roof is open.

Besides the 911 Carrera, Porsche has launched new facelifted variants of other models such as the Cayenne, Macan, Panamera, 718 Boxter, Taycan, Cayenne Coupe, Taycan Cross Turismo, and Macan Turbo EV.

Bookings for the new Porsche 911 Carrera have opened across the country. Porsche India said that they are aiming to deliver the vehicle soon. Porsche India has opened a new car showroom in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
