Kia Seltos is one of the most-selling mid-size SUVs in India. Upon its launch a few years ago, Seltos directly challenged Hyundai’s Creta and became one of the most popular mid-size SUVs in India. Although, both Kia and Hyundai are partner companies. Both Seltos and Creta offer infinite features that have impressed customers in India and both cars have enjoyed healthy demand. Now, Kia India has launched the new facelifted Seltos in India.
New Kia Seltos
The new Kia Seltos has been launched with an introductory price of Rs 10.90 lakh and goes up to Rs 19.80 lakh (ex-showroom). Kia has also launched the X-line variant of the Seltos.

New Kia Seltos Powertrain
The new Seltos retains its old 115hp, 144Nm, 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 116hp, 250Nm, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine. The petrol engine gets a 6-speed manual or a CVT, while the diesel engine is offered with a 6-speed iMT or a 6-speed AMT gearbox. The new Seltos also comes with a new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine that makes 160hp and 253Nm of torque and comes mated to a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
New Kia Seltos Exterior
The new Kia Seltos has a completely new exterior design. It gets a new front bumper with a larger grille, reshaped headlights with new LED daytime running lamps that spread into the grille, and a four-block element for the fog lamps. At the rear, the new Seltos gets inverted L-shaped tail lights connected by an LED light bar and a sportier-looking bumper.
The new Seltos gets eight exterior paint schemes and two dual-tone colours. The higher trims, GT Line, and X-line get 18-inch alloys. Whereas the X-line features several other elements and a grey matte colour.
New Kia Seltos Interior
in the inner, the Kia Seltos comes with giant dual 10.25-inch connected screens for infotainment and instrumentation. It gets a new dashboard with new upholstery. The new centre console has slimmer AC vents and new HVAC controls.
The new Seltos gets several features such as a panoramic sunroof, an 8-inch head-up display, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake, rain-sensing wipers, and a Bose-tuned 8-speaker system, dual-zone climate control, and several more features. The new Kia Seltos comes with an ADAS Suite and gets safety features such as forward collision warning assist, emergency braking, lane keep assist, six airbags, ESC, hill-start assist, all-wheel disc brakes, TPMS and three-point seat belts for all passengers.
The new Kia Seltos continues to rival the likes of Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
