New Audi Q8 Launched In India

Audi India has launched their flagship SUV the Audi Q8 in the country. The new Audi Q8 has been launched with an introductory price of 1.17 crore. It retains the 340hp, 3.0-litre V6 engine that produces 340hp and 500Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in just 5.6 seconds with a top speed of 250kmph.

New Audi Q8 exterior

The new Audi Q8 comes with eight exterior paints: Vicuna Beige, Mythos Black, Samurai Gray, Glacier White, Satellite Silver, Waitomo Blue, Sakhir Gold, and Tamarind Brown.

The major changes on the new Audi Q8 are extensive usage of black elements, replacing chrome with gloss black finishes across the grille, Audi rings, and various trim pieces. It also gets new HD Matrix LED headlights. At the rear, the new Audi Q8 gets connected to LED tail lamps with OLED technology.

New Audi Q8 interior

There are no major changes in the interior of the new Audi Q8. It looks the same as the outgoing model. But the dashboard, upholstery, stitching, and trims get new refreshed colors. The new Audi Q8 comes with a head-up display, heated and ventilated front seats, 17 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen music system, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.1-inch unit for touchscreen, a 12.3-inch driver’s display, 8.6-inch climate control screen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

The new Audi Q8 is available with several airbags, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, 360-degree camera, and park assist.

The New Audi Q8 55 TFSI Quattro is launched with an ex-showroom price of 1.17 crore. It is currently priced at 1.39 crore, on-road price in Mumbai. The new facelifted Audi Q8 is over 10 lakh more expensive than the outgoing model.

New Audi Q8 rivals

The New Audi Q8 55 TFSI Quattro is a five-seater luxury SUV. It rivals the five-seater BMW X5, Mercedes Benz GLE, and Range Rover Velar. It also rivals the seven-seater Mercedes GLS and BMW X7.

Besides the new Audi Q8, Audi India has also launched the Audi Q7 SUV. However, buyers in India would want to wait for Audi to launch the RS Q8 variant in India. Audi has several cars in the pipeline to launch in 2025 in India.
