Audi has finally revealed the much-awaited new and facelifted variant of their popular luxury SUV Audi Q5. Now Audi Q5 will be available as the Audi Q5 Sportback SUV in India. The new Q5 Sportback gets a completely new bold and sporty look. The new Audi Q5 Sportback SUV will be launched in India in 2025 and will go on sale in mid-2025. The car will go on sale in Europe in January 2025.
The new Audi Q5 Sportback SUV comes with a luggage capacity of up to 515 liters or up to 470 liters in the Q5 Sportback.
Audi Q5 Sportback exterior
There is no major difference between the normal Audi Q5 SUV and the new Audi Q5 Sportback SUV. However, the Q5 Sportback gets a sloping roofline and an entirely unique rear with a pronounced spoiler that enhances its coupe-SUV looks. The rear gets OLED tech and a dual-tone bumper that is secure with the presence of contrasting silver trim.
Audi Q5 Sportback interior
The new Audi Q5 and Q5 Sportback get a fresh new dashboard and interior details. Audi Q5 Sportback gets the same tech as the normal Q5 SUV. It comes with a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen and an 11.9-inch digital instrument display that is joined into one huge OLED panel. The co-passenger on the front seat gets a 10.9-inch passenger display. Audi is also offering Cascade fabric and Dinamica microfiber in the upholstery.
Audi Q5 and Q5 Sportback launch details
Both the Audi SUVs, Audi Q5 and Q5 Sportback will be launched early in 2025 in India. Buyers can pre-book the SUV online or visit the nearest Audi showroom. The test drive of both the SUVs will commence after its official launch. Buyers can expect the delivery of Audi Q5 and Q5 Sportback in mid-2025.
Audi Q5 and Q5 Sportback price
The current generation Audi Q5 is priced at 77.90 lakh for the Premium Plus 45 TFSI and 84.14 lakh for the Technology 45 TFSI, on-road price in Mumbai.
Buyers can expect an upsurge of 5-6 lakhs on the new Audi Q5 than the outgoing model of the car.
We expect the new Audi Q5 to be priced at 85 lakh on-road in Mumbai with the Audi Q5 Sportback soaring the 1 crore, on-road price in Mumbai mark.
Audi Q5 and Q5 Sportback rivals
In India, the upcoming Audi Q5 SUV will rival the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Mercedes Benz GLC and GLE, BMW X3 and BMW X5, Land Rover Evoque and Velar, and Volvo XC 60. Whereas the Audi Q5 Sportback SUV will directly rival the Mercedes Benz GLC Couple 43 AMG.
Besides the Audi Q5 and Q5 Sportback, Audi India will also introduce the facelifted and updated variants of the Audi A4 sedan, Audi A6 sedan, and Audi Q3 SUV in 2025. Audi India recently launched the updated and facelifted variants of their two big SUV the Audi Q7 and the Audi Q8.
Buyers in India are requesting and demanding Audi to relaunch the discontinued Audi Rs7 and R8. Both the supercars, Audi R8 and Audi Rs7 are available for sale in the international markets.
