Mercedes Benz has launched the facelifted Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS 600 SUV in the country. The Maybach is Mercedes Benz’s most luxurious trim that features in GLS SUV, S-Class sedan, and a few electric cars. The new Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS 600 SUV has been launched at Rs. 3.35 crore, ex-showroom, without customization.

The new Maybach GLS 600 is over Rs 90 lakh more expensive than the outgoing model. The facelifted Maybach GLS 600 comes with subtle exterior cosmetic updates, new interior trim, and upholstery options as well as an updated M177 4.0-litre V8 engine.

Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS 600 Powertrain
The new facelifted Maybach GLS 600 gets the same powertrain as the outgoing model. It retains the familiar AMG-sourced 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 557hp and 770Nm of peak torque (40Nm more than before). It also gets an ISG (integrated starter generator) that gives an additional boost of 21bhp and 250Nm. The engine comes mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission, sending drive to all four wheels via the 4Matic system. The new Maybach GLS 600 can sprint from 0 to 100kph in a claimed 4.9 seconds.
Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS 600 Exterior
The new Maybach GLS 600 gets Maybach’s signature dual-tone color scheme. It also offers Black, Silver, and White Metallic paint schemes.
The new Maybach GLS 600 now comes with a slightly redesigned grille and an all-new bumper; the grille on the air intake even gets a Maybach logo pattern. It now features Maybach logos on the vertical air-inlets. It also gets new rear LED signatures for the tail lamps and new Maybach-specific tail pipes. The new Maybach GLS 600 gets 22-inch or optional 23-inch Maybach wheels.
Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS 600 Interior and features
The new Maybach GLS 600 comes with a five-seater configuration as standard and an optional four-seater configuration. The rear seat passengers are treated with an extended center console in a waterfall design, a fridge, recline up to 43.5 degrees, an extendable leg rest, a central tablet on the fold-down armrest, champagne glasses, and twin rear 11.6-inch MBUX screens.
It also gets a new steering wheel design with more options. Rear seat passengers get a massage and ventilated seats. The new Maybach GLS 600 comes with the latest MBUX software.
More features in the new Maybach GLS 600 are a Level 2 ADAS suite, E-active body control, new interior upholstery, 360-degree vehicle protection, new graphics, updated telematics, a fingerprint sensor, and hand gestures for selective commands, a 590W Burmester 3D surround sound system, Maybach-specific ambient lighting.
The new Maybach GLS 600 gets two interior options: Nappa leather upholstery in either black or dual-tone mahogany brown/macchiato beige shades. The dashboard is finished in anthracite open-pore oak wood trim elements or brown open-pore walnut wood trim.

The new facelifted Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS 600 is launched at Rs 3.35 crore, ex-showroom. Customers would need to spend more to customize the car according to their preferences.
