Land Rover Defender 130 Launched In India

Land Rover has launched the latest and larger variant of the Defender. The Defender is currently sold in India in 90 and 110 variants. Now, Land Rover has introduced the new Defender 130 variant. It comes in petrol and diesel engine options and is available in HSE and X trims.

The new Land Rover Defender 130 is priced between Rs 1.30 crore to 1.40 crore, ex-showroom, India. Land Rover India has started the booking for the same.

Land Rover Defender 130 is longer than the Defender 90 and Defender 110. The Defender 130 accommodates up to eight passengers and comes with a three-row layout. The Defender 130 is quite lengthy.

The Land Rover Defender 130 is the same as the Defender 110. The Defender 130 is just 340mm longer than the rear of the Defender 110.

Land Rover Defender 130 comes in a three-row seating layout and can comfortably accommodate up to eight passengers. The Defender 130 gets an extra sunroof for third-row passengers. The third-row passengers are treated with additional light, four-zone air conditioning, cup holders, wireless charging, and more features.

Land Rover Defender 130 gets features like the latest Pivi-Pro software, 360-degree camera, 14-way electrically adjustable front seats, Matrix LED headlights, 20-inch wheels, wireless charging, Android Auto, Apple Car Play, a fully digital instrument cluster, and more.

Land Rover Defender 130 Powertrain

The new Land Rover Defender 130 gets two engine options. It gets a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, diesel mill (D300) that produces 300hp and 650NM whereas the petrol engine gets a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, diesel mill (P400) that produces 400hp and 550Nm. Both engines get mild-hybrid assistance and come paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox with power delivered to all four wheels.
