Honda India has launched the facelifted variant of one of its highest-selling and most popular car models. The new 2024 Honda Amaze has been launched in India. Interestingly, the new Honda Amaze compact sedan will be sold together with the previous model and last generation model of the Amaze car.
Honda has launched Amaze with introductory prices starting from Rs. 8.00 lakh, going up to Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the top-spec ZX trim model. The 2024 Honda Amaze is the third-generation model of the compact sedan.

The new Honda Amaze comes with an all-new Honda signature design that adopts the family look seen on the 2023 launched Honda Elevate and the newly launched Honda City. The 2024 Honda Amaze has a completely fresh interior with quite more features. Interested buyers can test drive the Honda Amaze at their nearest showrooms. The test drive cars have arrived at all the showrooms across India. The delivery of the Honda Amaze commences this December. Honda India is giving a 3-year unlimited km warranty as a standard feature on all the trims of the new Amaze.
Exterior design of new Honda Amaze
The new Honda Amaze has borrowed the front end of the Honda Elevate SUV. It looks shrunken, hunkered down like the Elevate SUV. Also, the new headlamps, and LED daytime running lamps that are topped by a sleek chrome trim look equal to the Elevate. The 15-inch alloy wheel’s new dual-tone design gives the Honda Amaze a stylish and bold new look.
The new 2024 Honda Amaze comes with six exterior paint shades – White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum, and Lunar Silver Metallic.
Interior and features of the new Honda Amaze
Like the exterior design, the new 2024 Honda Amaze has borrowed the interior design of its Elevate SUV. The dashboard and touchscreen are evidently inspired by the Elevate SUV. The new Amaze gets an 8-inch free-standing touchscreen, HVAC controls, a semi-digital instrument cluster with a 7-inch MID, and a multi-function steering wheel.
Honda Amaze also comes with two cup holders, a centre console layout, too – with a wireless charging shelf, and USB ports.
Honda has claimed that the new 2024 Amaze is India’s most affordable car with ADAS safety features.
The new Honda Amaze features LED projector headlamps and fog lamps, auto climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, three-point seat belts for all occupants, a wireless charger, push button start/stop, a rear seat armrest, rear AC vents, and connected car features. Safety features include six airbags as standard, a lane watch camera, hill start assist, traction control, ESC, and the Honda Sensing ADAS suite.
However, the new 2024 Amaze misses out on a sunroof that is provided by its direct competitor the new 2024 launched Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
Engine specs of the new Honda Amaze
The new Honda Amaze is driven by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally enunciated petrol engine producing 89bhp and 110Nm of torque. Power is directed to the front wheels via a five-speed manual or CVT unit with paddle shifters. The new Amaze is slightly more powerful than the Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
Honda India has claimed a fuel efficiency of 18.65kpl for the manual variant and 19.46kpl for the CVT variant.

Maruti Suzuki has recently launched a new facelifted variant of one of their highest-selling model Dzire. Dzire is direct and tough coemption to the Honda Amaze. The Honda Amaze will continue to rival the Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor.
