South Korean car manufacturer Kia has announced that their recently launched car model Carnival currently has a six-month waiting period. Kia India launched the new facelifted Carnival on October 3, 2025. Carnival is a globally popular MPV car with infinite luxury comfort and features. The demand for Carnival is high in India. Buyers who have booked the car in December will receive the delivery in May or June. The car is available in two colors, white and black, and comes in a single Diesel trim.

Kia Carnival price
Kia India announced that they are aiming to deliver over 500 units of its new Carnival within the next two months. The company revealed that they have received over 3500 bookings so far since the launch of the new Carnival.
The new Kia Carnival is priced at 63.9 lakhs. It is super expensive.
Kia India has also officially stated that they will increase the prices of all of its cars by up to 2% from January 2025.
New Kia Carnival
The new Carnival comes in a single fully loaded, diesel, 7-seater (2+2+3 seating configuration) trim with two colour options, black and white.
The new Kia Carnival will be locally assembled in India. The MPV car is presently assembled at Kia India’s plant in Ananthapur in the Andhra Pradesh state of India. Kia India aims to produce over 300 units of Carnival every month at their India plant. Besides, the Ananthapur plant also locally assembles other Kia car models such as the highest-selling Seltos, Carens, and Sonet.
The fourth-gen Kia Carnival is power-driven with second-row captain’s seats with cooling, heating ventilation, and enormous leg support.
The new Kia Carnival comes with a 12-way power driver’s seat, three-zone climate control, an 11-inch head-up display, dual 12.3-inch curved displays, dual electric sunroofs, a sole 193hp, 2.2-liter diesel engine mated to an 8-speed CVT gearbox and a 12-speaker Bose sound system. Kia India claims a 14.85kpl fuel mileage for the latest Kia Carnival.
Interestingly, as an MPV car, Kia Carnival has no direct rivals in the Indian market at the moment. The Toyota Vellfire is a super luxury MPV car but is priced at 1.50 crore, on-road in Mumbai. At 78 lakhs, on-road price in Mumbai, the Kia Carnival is an excellent choice for buyers looking to buy an MPV car.
The new Kia Carnival has a 3,090mm long wheelbase. The MPV car measures 5,155mm in length, 1,995mm in width, and 1,775mm in height with roof rails.
On the safety front, the new Carnival delivers eight airbags, electronic stability control, Level 2 ADAS with 23 autonomous features, hill assist control, front and rear disc brakes, trailer, and stability assist.

The Kia Carnival is powered by a 2151 cc engine with 8-speed gearbox and automatic transmission.
Kia Syros
Following the successful launch of the Kia Carnival, Kia India will now launch their upcoming compact SUV on December 19. The compact SUV is called the new Kia Syros and will now directly challenge the Skoda Kylaq, Maruti Suzuki Breeza, Tata Nexon, and Hyundai Venue. The new Kia Syros will be priced between 10 lakhs to 16 lakhs with an on-road price of over 17 lakhs for the top-end trim.
New Kia Seltos 2025
Kia India is also aiming to launch the facelifted and the new 2025 Kia Seltos. The current variant of Kia Seltos was launched in India in mid-2023. Kia Seltos is one of the highest-selling SUVs in India and Kia India’s best seller.
