Kia India has unveiled a new compact SUV in their Indian lineup. The new Kia compact SUV is named Syros and it has made its debut today in India. Kia India has made a successful presence in the Indian market by selling vehicles such as the Seltos, Carens, Sonet, Carnival, and EV6. Kia surely has a winner on hand as the new Kia Syros is a reasonable car for buyers in India.

New Kia Syros exterior
The design of the new Kia Syros has received mixed feedback. For many people the design of the Kia Syros is unique and new, for some it is too boxy. On the front, it gets vertically stacked headlamps with vertical LED DRLs, LED projector units, and a distinct drop-down LED daytime running lamp. The higher variant of the Kia Syros will receive 17-inch alloy wheels. It also gets flush door handles. It also gets L-shaped Starlamp LED tail lamps.
The new Kia Syros is 3,995mm in length, 1,800mm in width, 1,665mm in height, and a 2,550mm wheelbase. It is longer, wider, and taller than the Kia Sonet. It has a boot capacity of 465 liters.
The new Kia Syros comes with eight exterior paint options: Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, Imperial Blue, Frost Blue, Pewter Olive, Aurora Black Pearl, and Intense Red.

The new Kia Syros gets two engine options: a 1-litre turbo-petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel. The petrol engine produces 118bhp of power and 172Nm of torque while the diesel engine produces 114bhp of power and 250Nm of torque.

The Kia Syros gets a new dashboard. It comes with a 12.3-inch display for the infotainment and instrument. It also gets 64 color ambient lighting options. It has features such as a panoramic sunroof, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, all four ventilated seats, Level 2 ADAS, rear AC vents, 360-degree camera, six airbags, an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, electronic parking brake, front and rear parking sensors, reclining and sliding second-row seats with center armrest and 60:49 split-folding.
New Kia Syros prices
As mentioned before, prices for the new Kia Syros will be revealed in February 2025. However, the higher trim of the Kia Syros might be priced between 17 – 18 lakh, on-road price in Mumbai.

The new Kia Syros rivals compact SUVs such as Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and the recently launched Skoda Kylaq.

One has to wait for Kia to announce the prices for the Syros. However, it looks like an excellent car with a unique design.
